Hi Robert We are a group of about 8 ladies all looking for a nice ride for a winery tour for the weekend of Saturday the 1st or Sunday the 2nd of May 2010 we can be flexible on these days. Ideally we would like probably a 4 hour tour maybe stopping for lunch somewhere if possible however again we can be flexible. We did use you same time last year and our driver was fantastic and we had so much fun it was fantastic. Again ideally we would like to hire the Hummer if possible as we saw it at your house on our return of our last tour and were most impressed. Transfer Service Over the summer season, moving people from point a to b, becomes a massive part of our business. People visit our region to drink, and dine, to drink more and dine again. It's a Hummer-dinger

Hollywood-Style tours are the talk of the town in a busy holiday region of WA. And the drawcard is the 1st stretched 18 seat/16 passenger Hummer limousine in Australia. The $ 350,000 Limo, which is 11 m long and weighs 5 tonnes, has raised many eyebrows and is a constant head turner when it hits the tourism trail.

It has been brought to Margaret River by local entrepreneur Robert Giometti to tour the regions award winning wineries and showcase other tourist attractions. Painted in a brilliant bronze pewter gold, which changes colour in the light, and powered by a 6 litre V8 engine, the vehicle has been altered to right hand and fitted with rear wheel steer, chromed rims and extra big weight rated tyres.

But it's the features inside that bring a gasp or two from passenger. They include....

Mr Giometti a former Dj and professional compere runs Allstar Hire, a Margaret River based company that specialises in limousine and Mini Bus tours. The whole vehicle sits on a strenghtend chassis, while its amazing coil-sprung suspension, provides a most comfortable ride. Mr Giometti said the Hummer had stopped people in their tracks since its arrival in Margaret River this month.

He said the limo had been hired by a 16 year old girl who brought along 15 of her friends for a 5 hour tour. They paid $ 180 each for the thrill of the ride and a raucous karaoke session.There has also been booking from teenagers for who wanted to attend their school balls in Holly wodd style.

While tourists and the corporate market are the companys major targets, Mr Giometti said he'd been knockedover by the response from local people. The Hummer is equipped to entertain and thats what people want, When they come on tour with us they go away with a "wow" factor.

According to Mr Giometti TV identitoes such as Paula Duncan, Cornelia Francis, Judy Dunn and Bruce Venables had taken one of the company's customised tours. So to had Former Australian Rugby Captain John Eales and 500cc Champion Mic Doonhan

Its great to see people kick up their heels, while at the same time taking in some of the top spots and wineries in this stunning region of WA. What has been most amazing is that 90% of the bookings we have received so far have been women.
